38 weeks pregnant and 2 cm dilated

Aug 21, 2017 at 3:01 PM. FTM 38w 3 days. Had my doctors appointment today and when she checked my cervix I was 80 percent thinned, but was not dilated at all. She told me my cervix is short and that she could touch babies head while she was checking me. This is frightening to me!
