The weirwood’s most important testimony was the pattern of its rings: there was none. Arianne Martell is a great, subtle character. No, not subtle in terms of her actions - she's a blunt Littlefinger in that regard - subtle in the way that George crafts her narrative to sneak up on the reader. In AFFC, Arianne and Dorne are seemingly separated out from the main plot of AFFC and ASOIAF proper. Many in the fandom have given up hope that Winds of Winter will come out, but I believe that we will get it next year and that we will get A Dream of Spring a few years after. After all of the new plot points created in feast and dance, George has created a dozen meereenese knots for him to untangle. Combine this with his other projects he made ...

What he wants is his family (and to brutally murder Ramsay Bolton). A lot of readers want him to be King, but I don't think Lord Snowheart is going to give a fig about the crown. r/asoiaf. 243.Jun 17, 2017 · Oh yeah, Stannis is definitely the one to look forward to in Winds. I hope his direction finds in him and his badass northern army right on frickin' Little Finger's doorstep. Link to comment The two previous books were quite good, they helped building up the story and showed new perspectives of the world of ice and fire but now the story is leading up to truth behind the thin veil of secrets. Cersei won't die until Tommen and Myrcella die. I think its highly unlikely that all three will die in the Winds of Winter. Moqorro promised Victarion that he'd get what was coming to him, and I think that includes a horrible death. The only way Jaime will survive is if he promises Lady Stoneheart that he'll kill Cersei.I imagine if Winds of Winter is ever released, the payoff to that plotline will be there. I can see Quentyn's death as the catalyst that gets Dorne to align with fake Aegon over Danny kicking off the next Dance of Dragons when she returns to Westeros. I'm not convinced we needed Quentyn PoV chapters to accomplish that and they were a drag for sure.
