You'll be done Zulrah well before the point you're grinding raids KC for ancestral. For Range you're probably fine with dhides, but kills will be straight shit until you get your blowpipe. Unless you go for Bowfa early (which is a huge grind), you're probably using a RCB or a Magic Shortbow and hating them. The main useful drop from zulrah is the magic fang which is useless unless you have the trident anyway. There aren't a whole lot of early/mid game reasons to use a blowpipe, especially if you have (or are planning to get) a bowfa. The main uses are for jad, demonics, and shamans.
