He graduated from Neillsville High School in 1977, and then married Carole Humphrey, the love of his life, on May 5, 1979.Denise Burr. Denise Marie (Opelt Kreitlow) Burr, 52 passed away June 28, 2023. She was born on November 4, 1970, to Gerald & Carol (Tresemer) Opelt. So excited to enter this world she couldn't wait to arrive at the hospital and was born on the way in the ambulance. Denise continued to make her mark and was crowned Miss Neillsville 1988.
