H1b visa drop box eligibility

I am planning to travel to Canada to get my H1-B Visa stamped. Since Canada is not my home country I am not eligible for a drop box appointment. However, I wanted to know if getting my H1-B stamping done outside my home country (Canada in this case) will make me ineligible for H1-B drop box appointments in the future.
