It's hard to settle on a budget. I had some free time recently, and I decided to exploit my indecisiveness and suggest 19 PC builds for you, at $100 budget increments, from $200 to $2000. It's clearly impossible to suggest a one-size-fits all build. I was aiming for what I believed the average consumer would want at each price point.

Now is a very tough time to do a build as graphics cards are always out of dtock and insanely overpriced. Here's a few build ideas: Entry Level - $700. No GPU. Find a good graphics card with the leftover money. Low-end - $1000. Slow, overpriced, old GPU. Mid-tier - $1500. Low-end, overpriced current-gen GPU. Micro Center is the best consumer experience you will have. Period. The builds they do will be better than any prebuilt you buy because they are assembled by competent, usually actually certified techs. Powerspec builds are great foundations which get you in with solid specs at a good price point. 3DMark is like the go-to for “professional” pc builders and testers, although it does cost money. snatched the full version for 3€ on sale, can only recommend if u like playin with oc's n stuff. OCCT and Linpack and good for CPU/RAM, Superposition or 3DMark for GPU.
