After owning a 19 and 21 Forester and getting 22mpg in the winter, I think anyone looking to buy should understand that the extra grand for a hybrid RAV4 or CRV is worth every penny compared to going all in on a Forester. Buy a hybrid. Just do it. Don’t think twice. The MPG and power increase is a huge advantage over the Forester.
